Mykel T

Mykel T is a hip-hop artist based in Minnesota, originally born in Dayton, Ohio. Raised in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, he began writing and recording music at just 14 years old.

At 15, Mykel recorded his first song with his best friend in a basement studio, marking the beginning of a long journey in music. After stepping away from music for several years, he returned in 2022 with the release of his single “Bed of Lies.”

The song led him to compete in a DJ Khaled contest where he advanced to the third round out of five. Motivated by the momentum, Mykel continued releasing music and later won a performance contest for Super Bowl Weekend.

In February 2023, he performed during Super Bowl weekend and was offered an opportunity to sign with Rock Nation. He now works with manager Dakari Thurman and continues building his career as an independent artist under his label B.A.C.H..
